« on: December 11, 2007, 08:34:37 PM »
so i moved to my thrird PT in 8 months. This guy is very good and educated well and he has a course and training in Graston. it uses a special grade of stainless steel that can easy frequent the skins texture to his hands. So all it does is do a somewhat deep tissue massage thats supposed to iron out the scaring on the surface. Now is this a waiste of my time?

heres the website : grastontechnique.com
also heres a pic of my knee 3 weeks post opp
but the shape and swelling of that has been with me since my first surgery 8 months ago and hasnt changed with 2 scar removal surgeries.

Here is the Graston website

http://www.grastontechnique.com/

Also put Graston in the search area of the kneeguru website and you will come up with several posts to read thru

Oops ! Sorry, I didn't see you had the website already....but still do the search.

Hello,

rjs1956 (Bob) had some Graston treatments during his rehab from arthrofibrosis surgery. He talks about it in his thread "Bob's arthrofibrosis story." Here's a link:
