I have split this thread and will lock it at this point. Many of these jokes have been great fun, but a bit of a competition seems to have sprung up to  post jokes that took up my time moderating, and these have been discarded. Sorry to those of you who were enjoying this thread and my apologies to those of you whose recent dialogue I have discarded.
