Mine was caused by a military surgeon and my experience has been that they see very few cases of this and have no idea how to treat it.

Brokein hawaii,

I would suggest calling Dr. Frank Noyes in Cincinnati.  Yes, he is in Ohio, not in Hawaii, but he has been very helpful to me and AF doctor's are somewhat of a fraternity.

I understand you wish for a military doctor, but you may need to go get another opinion for your AF.  Normally, an opinion is the cost of a office visit.  I would very much think you should get an opinion from a qualified AF doctor at whatever the cost.

As full time military, a doctor may be willing to see you once without charge.  You don't know until you ask.

Anyway, call Dr. Noyes and ask for his suggestion!

May I ask why you are looking for a military doctor? If  you have AF, you have to go to an AF specialist like Steadman, Millett or Shelbourne, in my opinion. If money is an issue, please apply to my non-profit corporation for a grant by sending me a personal message if you don't want to post your history.
