11 weeks post TTT - rehab issues
« on: September 18, 2002, 05:27:19 AM »
I did it!! Finally, after 11 weeks post-op and nearly a month of heavy PT I got my SLR! It was a perfect birthday gift (I turned 16 on Monday Sept 16th) since I finally got it on Sept 10th at 1AM lol
Well I just wanted to let you all know in hopes that this will be an inspiration to all of you who are struggling with rehab!! I'll keep you posted on how I do in the rest of my recovery!!

Yeah it is nice to finally be getting somewhere:) I'm so used to the PT place that I do my exercises w/out a PT and then just meet up w/my PT for table work!! lol he says I'm a great help because I free up his schedule by doing it all myself. I think they should give me a job. Thanks for all the support!!

Progress is such a great feeling--keep it up and you'll be where you want to in no time.

My PT sessions sound a lot like yours--I've been going since March and could  almost work there too.  Those folks have become like family to me...

Take care and congratulations!  Sylvia
