TTT combined with cartilage repair procedure
« on: July 02, 2003, 01:54:51 PM »
 Hi, folks  and Kneeguru,

How many of you had a TTT together with a "cartillage repair" technique like OATS, ACI or microfracture.

Which areas could be treated with such a technique also the Patella its self. Does the bony part of the patella have a bloodsuppply.

As I understood the patella has to withstand high pressures (shearrate's) that might  be difficult for fibrocartillage.

Could one of you and/or the Kneeguru tell something more about the possibilities.

Another question is whether a TTT always goes together with a  LR.

We have different views on this aspect with the Orthopeadic surgeons consulted.

Thank you for your time, sincere greetings Andries
