New knee components for slighter stature patients
« on: March 17, 2007, 05:09:18 AM »
Just read that the Wright Medical Group have announced a new line of femoral components for use with the Advanced Knee systems that is a tapered design to address implant sizing needs of patiens with more narrow knee anatomies for smaller skeletal frames of both sexes. Says it fits better as it features reduced width and contoured anterior flange to optimize patellar tracking.  The tibial inserts feature a ball to socket mechanism designed to replicate the stability of natural knee nad promote more natureal motion.  Search new wright medical femoral components for total knee. Thought there were a few here who were awaiting a smaller total knee. Teresa
