Ok, here is a pic of me playing my sport..... the one that tore the ACL.... pity it isnt a great action shot, I'm usually the one behind the camera, so it is rare that ther eis actually a pic of me. Im the GK. This is a year or 2 years before the injury, still getting over an ankle injury (Ligament tears again.... and hence the ankle brace).  I had just stopped using the ankle brace when the knee blew out.

Cheers
Alla
Torn ACL December 04

it is similar to basketball but when you get the ball you cant move, only pivot also each player has a designated area on the court and only 2 players can score.

cant explain the skirt tho.

JohnFoy wins for ugliest photo on this thread, those bloody knee shots make me queezy.

torn RK ACL March 2001, surgery Aug. 14 2006, after 4 knee sprains since Oct. '05.  Allograft, ~40% medial meniscus removed, some wear in the trochlear groove. Everything else looks good.

I don't get it. I really should watch a video clip of this sport, I'm showing my American (yes, we live in a bubble) ignorance. ;)

Okay, I just gave myself a lesson on Netball. It seems that it is derived from basketball. There is no contact and no dribbling. The game was changed when the rules were misinterpreted (not understood) by Britain. They also modified to make it more "ladylike".
