Hey Maggs - I thought you were going in this afternoon for your op tomorrow - how confused am I now?
when they do your op they will make sure that while still under you kne will function correctly
have a look at this site and do your own surgery run through and you will learn so much more

There is no idea to think thoughts like that now..you know that you need this leg. Tomorrow eve all is done for you and you don't have to worry about that..24 hours go quick.
I am also starting to freak out more and more about surgery but as you I have not really any choice either as I even can't sit in my wheelchair for longer periods with my leg down.
Here's a big hug for you coming all way from Sweden...

did you look at that site?
hey don't worry about your emotions right now - they will be all over the show! - I cried my eyes out the morning before I went in - it is a mixture of fear of the unknown, excitement at getting a final fix and also months of worry and stress coming out - if you do have a cry you will be calmer after - and don't worry about doing it in front of your loved ones - they will be as worried / nervous as you!
You can chat to us on here as well to keep occupied!

hmm - dunno about that one! - depends on whether they want to catheterise you or not? ! but really don't worry about it - they are really used to these minor probs - Congrats on your first op! lol - interesting wasn't it - despite all I had read up and been told - that site made it so much easier to understand.

Mags, you will be ok. I had that when I had my spinal surgery and they took care of everything so don't you think about that.
but though agree that it's typical getting that

That site is really good........I took a look at the photos too......ewww.....not so clear to see what's going on. No wonder there is a lot of pain afterwards.
