I found a few articals on Internet about Neoprinol when look for any possible supplements for scar tissue problem.

Fibrin is a particular substance formed in the human body that plays a role in a host of health conditions.  Fibrin is responsible for scar tissue, thrombus formation, arthritic and inflammatory conditions along with associated pain.  Neprinol-AFD by Arthur Andrew Medical is designed to address fibrin in the body.  Removal of fibrin by the body is accomplished by enzymes (principally plasmin) whose role is to attack the excess fibrin buildup.  Neprinol-AFD provides superior fibrin-active enzymes in a combination designed to address fibrin buildup and more.

Neprinol reduce scar tissue buildup, fibrosis, arthritic conditions, pain swelling inflammation and hundreds of other ailments. NEPRINOL’s formulation is more complete and essential than a daily vitamin. Replace the enzymes that Mother Nature has taken away from us as we age NEPRINOL® is radically more advanced than today’s leading systemic enzyme blends. NEPRINOL® contains several sources of anti-oxidant fighting ingredients as well as pharmaceutical grade proteolytic enzymes enterically coated to adapt to a wide spectrum of PH levels. NEPRINOL’s exclusive formulation contains several highly concentrated digestive enzymes that enable the body to digest fats, proteins, sugars, and carbohydrates. These digestive enzymes enable the body to convert the food we eat into energy rather than stored fat.

It seems that there is some indication that proteolytic enzymes can reduce
fibrin (scar tissue precursor). I haven't been able to find any medical data yet,
but it's an interesting question. There might be other remedies than Neprinol
that would be equally effective. I'm still searching on the Net. Thanks for
posting that!

One more note: I spoke to my PT yesterday about proteolytic enzymes
and she said that some reserach indicates that they can
reduce scar tissue but also weaken tendons and ligaments. I haven't
yet found the research.

Does anyone have any idea what effects this would have on already existing scar tissue?  Would it even help?

My current research shows that Neprinol can demolish scar tissue but same time it has a few side effects such weaken ligaments and tendons, which come faster than positive effects.

I guess we need to close this conversation and forget about Neprinol.
