One year Post Op: ACI & Fulkerson....Impressions

Hi Nick,
Thanks for all the info.  It sounds like you are doing really well for one year post op.  Just a couple of more questions:
1.  How long were in you an immobolizer brace?  did you have to wear a brace after the immobilizer and if so for how long?
2.  can you use the CPM machine while layng on the couch or can it only be used in bed?
3.  how many months of PT did you have to do?
4.   how frequently did you have to go back to Dr. levy for follow-up appointments after the surgery?  I live 3 1/2 hours from his office and am wondering how many trips I am going to have to make there.

1) When not on the CPM which was 8 hours per day I was in immobilizer.  I think if came off at 9 weeks, but can't recall exactly.
2) Can use CPM anywhere, but it is bulky so the bed is easier than the couch.  But you can set up shop on the floor in living room in front of TV.
3) I think I did 2 months of PT and then did it on my own.
4) In the beginning rather frequently then more spaced out. Can't remember exact frequency>
