Okay, for me personally, when I have PMS my knee, my muscles, joints in general just ache. I also retain double the fluid in that leg, you can't see my ankle bones. As soon as it passes, all the water goes away.
Here's what I do to try to help. I take B-6 (natural diuretic), and I drink as much water as my body can possibly hold and I keep going all day long. This really helps. Also, I avoid chinese food, sushi, all take out (except salads), cheese, etc. anything really salty especially the week before (pms).
It's worth a try next time and see if you notice a difference.
I've been thinking about your OA and arthritis issue and wondered if you ever tried any products like flexprotect, or taking flaxseed oil? I don't know if the flexprotect works or not, but I did a little research and came across several testimonies where real people said it did help them A LOT and fairly quickly too (first week).
Bad weather days I guess will always hurt. I now notice even my "good" leg hurts more when it rains, Pretty soon though, when your getting around and being normal again, you'll just brush it off.
I'm having 10 pain on CPM today and probably tomorrow too (trying to get to 100 degrees). I just keep thinking hey, this can't possibly last forever... it's only temp. it's only temp. it's only temp......
