I am approaching my 42nd birthday. No plans to check out soon and I will never adjust to being disabled. I used to race bicycles for fun... I will read and consider what you have told me here. Again, thank you. I can have my latest op notes and surgery videos mailed to you at some point if you really think you would like to try and help me some day...

Highland, there is no "specialist" in Ontario but there is an excellent knee surgeon in Ottawa named Dr. Don Johnson. He was able to recognize my AF right away. He is very nice and knows his stuff. He didn't operate on me because he wanted my original doctor to do it, but I'm certain he would have done a great job. You may need to wait a it to get to see him though.

Hey, guys - obviously new to the board. Chalk me up to the list of AF casualties.
I know that this thread has been kinda quiet lately. Any leads on a specialist in or near Louisiana, or an updated comprehensive nationwide list?
Thanks in advance.

to Hutubpam:
hi, i am currently going through arthrofibrosis problems. in 2009, i had three knee surgeries, one of which resulted in an infection. it has been a year since all of my surgeries and i still don't have my full ROM. i understand that you went to see Dr. Eaken in 2004. i would like to know what are your current results? are you back to how you were, pre-op?
thanks!

to Bumleg: thanks for recommending Dr. Eakin. Does Dr. Eakin have a special PT plan for people with AF?
Thanks!
