I had an ACL recon a year ago in April (after much deliberation) and have been resonably happy with my rate of recovery. However, the support team to the surgeon were terrible. This left me having to answer a lot of my own questions. I've a degree in Sports Science, and know when I'm being 'fobbed off'!
My problem is based around a click that occurs when my leg reches full extension. This was present before the op, and the surgeon couldn't see anything bad during the op. It's still there and seems to prevent me from jumping off that leg. Surely the graft is strong enough now. I've had a complicated history with this injury, so I want to get it sorted before I'm too old!
