some good news..picking up some money.. sub teaching..filling in at the gym....free lance pieces and temp work as i try to generate enuff money to pay next mth's bills...also an interview with a big publishing company..some type of editorial pos...knee and hip a bit better after fri nite's shots and i may have a pop at a full time spot with benes...that'd be nice..

thanks paulette..spent the wkend delivering flowers and getting ready for this wkend's mtg with the beatles guys..also the interview tmrw morning at a book publisher in nyc..there are some editorial spots avail..so i do have an in as the dude i did work for from pw has moved there as a high exec..least the activity has picked up and i have a group of part time gigs..the gym..med billing input....subbing at local schools is generating some money at last...leg is the same but i an trying to preserve and get thru the winter..

thanks julie...guys...mtg went very well...they already called a few times and now it seems they are trying to locate an appropriate slot ....so will know more in the next coupla wks..got some temp work and also subbed on monday so every dollar helps..hope everyone is having a good knee day..very damp and cold here..sore and a lil hassle at the pharmacy as they insisted i had more pills left..it was a new pharmacist who did not look at the file where my docs have notated that i am chronic acute pain and the usual prompts for mdd are diff for me....no worries but they sure make u feel lke a druggie...anyway...hope u are feeling okay

ugh..a bad pain nite..been pretty bad the past wk and the past few nites..well i'm at that point where it is very uncomfortable in my body..when the hip is bad too my back gets really spasmy...plus i fell a bit which makes the soft plate on my tibia very bad too...also really cold again which does not help..anyway..hope everyone is having a good wkend pain free....

not complaining just the pain is getting to me a bit now....meds help me relax a bit and it stings that the pharmacist did not read the file...next time i go to the one i've been going to for yrs...dude knows my file well....just one of those indignities we chronics get sometmes....

thanks for listening too...rent cobra and other bills due too....so next wk will be tuff....may need to hit on someone or a loan..and the hits just keep on coming..

Hey Ron, It is 2:07 am here and I am still awake and trying to get the levels down to a few minutes at least of sleep. I really wish that these meds could kick in faster. I don't take them during the daytime hours, just at night, so that maybe they will pack a little more punch at night and help me drift off to sleep (wouldn't that be great?) Hope the jobs keep coming your way and you get the break you are looking for, though definitely not in your leg!! Didn't come out quite right on that sentence. ANYWAY< get some rest, and hopefully sleep. Later, Teresa

I know what you guys mean about the nights - sometimes it seems like I just watch every hour slip slowly by and can not get to sleep.  For me it is all these weather changes that cause the nighttime restlessness.  We have had a very wierd winter here in the Maritimes warm days and very cold nights - not the weather for knees.

Hey Ron !!

Hope you have a better night's sleep tonight, although it's monday tomorrow. Life looks brighter for you now Ron. You have worked hard, good of you !!! Hope both health and business are good next week.
Feeling better here, cold is almost gone. Only my right knee is messing up. Kids have one week holiday so we are heading out in the snow tomorrow for some skiing downhill. My snow will take his snowboard.
We have lots of snow and more to come and the mountain about 20 minutes drive from home.

thanks t...2 snowstorms this wk..7 in last nite and 6 in sun nite..nother one coming on monday....well winter is winter i guess...lotsa pain and sleep probs..typical as i have been really bzy in and out of the city and local temp gigs..beatles deal still going and if nothing else it's fun to meet with these dudes who knew all of the beatles, stones and most of the 70's and 80's roster...going out to catch a  band tonite in white plains..bon jovi tribute band..shoul be some good guitar work at least........i will be drinking coke since i got the flu a bit and would prefer to pop a vike instead as my knee,hip.and back are screaming but it's good to get out once in a while...hope u are doing ok..

hi guys..yet another snowstorm..as i slide and silp and clean off the car for yet another go round i marvel at the fact we have had three storms in less than a wk..and a possibility for another by week's end..hope u are all doing ok and staying warm and safe..tough day for me as i scrounge the rent and cobra money....broke beyond belief as much of the work i've done the past mth or two has yet to be paid..just normal as free lance and subbing usually work on mthly invoices..so the checks will come soon..meanwhile angling a loan from a relative sweating the next mth too....my back is really bad as the hip continues to be off orbit..just the usual..with a bad cold i cannot shake and just tired...but i'm ok and know that things will get better..i continue to chase any kind of work as i wait for results from interviews and other long term jobs that are developing.......it's my b-day next wk..so maybe it's time for a break a good one for a change
