Dr Litchfield is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in sports surgery of the shoulder and knee. His knee fellowship was completed at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Colorado. He is part of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team medical group and an active member of the Canadian Academy of Sports Medicine, and currently holds the McLachlin Professorship of Surgery at the University of Western Ontario.
