Dr. A.M. Rajani is a Consultant Knee Surgeon, with a wide experience in all aspects of adult knee surgery. After graduating with an MBBS degree from Seth G. S. Medical College and KEM Hospital – University of Mumbai in the year 1999, Dr. Rajani began his Orthopaedic carrier as a resident in the department of Orthopaedics at the prestigious Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical college and Sion hospital, University of Mumbai.
He was awarded the Gold Medal in orthopaedics by the University of Mumbai for being ranked first in the orthopaedic exit examination held by the University. He was also awarded the Dr. M. V. Sant prize for excellence in orthopaedics. Dr. Rajani was also a recipient of the Lupin prize for the best young orthopaedic surgeon of Mumbai.
Dr. Rajani was then selected for a one year “Zimmer Fellowship in Knee Surgery, where he assisted as well as performed primary Total Knee Replacement Surgeries.
To enhance his skills, he then went to Canada to be trained in primary and revision Total Knee Replacements Surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital, University of Toronto.
Deputy International certified Dr. Rajani as an expert in Computer Assisted Knee Surgery after he successfully completed the training in Computer Navigated Surgery from Melbourne, Australia.
Dr. Rajani also trained in Reconstructive Knee Arthroscopy at the Chulalongkorn University Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. He was also selected for a fellowship at the Catherine Hospital Germany.
