Quads sets

Simple but important exercises to keep the quadriceps (quads) muscles from becoming inhibited after injury or surgery.

Sitting in bed or on the floor, with the legs outstretched, the quads are tightened, pulling up the kneecap - and held in the position for a count of ten. Then the muscle is relaxed and the exercise repeated. Also called 'static quads'.
