Privacy Policy regarding our Specialists Directory

Details of Knee Surgeons and other knee specialists are made available within a directory on the Site. Changes in 2018 to the law in Europe (GDPR) allow such a directory within the terms of ‘legitimate interest”, since the specialists all already publicly display their contact data online for the purposes of facilitating referrals from patients. We feel also that we have a 'legitimate interest' in helping patients find surgeons and also a 'legitimate interest' in supporting surgeons in this way. The personal data of the surgeons is also held by us in an email autoresponder which may contain non-public information only to help us schedule regular checking and updating of the contact information publicly displayed.
