Dr Trotter is based at the Center for Sports Orthopaedics, Hoffman Estates, Illinois, USA. He is a Board Certified Knee Specialist and Orthopaedic Surgeon and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Orthopaedics Surgeons.

Having developed and integrated a specific surgical combination of UniSpacer/partial synovectomy, Dr Trotter continues to treat appropriate national and international candidates. He has traveled the world (including with the US Women's Soccer Team) extensively in pursuit of ongoing medical teaching and global medical knowledge.
