This short video sequence demonstrates foot pumps.

foot pumps Bring the foot upwards, moving it from the ankle. Hold it up forcibly for about five seconds.
foot pumps Point the toes downwards, so that you feel the calf muscles contract. Hold it for five seconds.
foot pumps Repeat five times. Repeat the sequence every half hour.
