Arthroscopic surgery

Arthroscopic surgery is surgery performed via arthroscopy or keyhole surgery.

The term infers that the problem inside the knee was dealt with via arthroscopy, as opposed to the term ‘diagnostic arthroscopy’, where a surgeon may just look inside a joint to see what is wrong.
