Meniscus cartilage

The meniscus cartilage or 'semi-lunar' cartilage is nowadays called the 'meniscus'.

The term ‘knee cartilage(s)’ (implying meniscus cartilage(s)) is in common use amongst sportsmen but in fact doctors never use the term amongst themselves and always talk of ‘the meniscus’.
