Dr (Mr) Chitnavis is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with an elective practice dedicated exclusively to knee surgery. Dr Chitnavis's own training in orthopaedics was undertaken in London, Oxford and Sydney. He has a Master of Surgery Thesis on hip and knee osteoarthritis from Cambridge University. Hs specialist interests include ligament reconstruction using both autografts (hamstring and patella ligament) and hydroxyapatite coated knee replacements. He has wide experience in primary joint replacements (unicompartmental and total) as well as revision total knee replacements.

Background Dr Jai Chitnavis is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Cambridge, UK. His elective practice is dedicated solely to knee surgery. Jai Chitnavis' private practice is based at The Cambridge Knee Clinic. He is actively involved in research into disorders of the knee. Dr Chitnavis spent a year as Fellow in Knee Surgery and Sports Medicine to Dr Merv Cross in Sydney, Australia.
