Treatment of failed Osteochondritis Dissecans repair by Articular Cartilage Paste Grafting

Combined Meniscus Allograft Transplantation and Articular Cartilage Paste Grafting

  • A 39 year old sportsman and avid skier suffered a knee injury resulting in a meniscectomy. Determined to continue with his sporting activities the knee became further damaged, and meniscus allograt and articular cartilage paste grafting helped to restore function and allow him to continue to be active in sports.

Collagen Meniscus Implant

  • This 42 year old patient injured her meniscus as a child, and then subsequently re-injured it as an adult, resulting in a very compromised meniscus. As the important meniscus rim was still intact it was decided that a transplantation was not the best option, and the patient settled for a collagen meniscus implant.
