Part 2 - Examining the acutely injured swollen knee

In this section Mr (Dr) Adrian Wilson explains how inexperienced practitioners may be discouraged from attempting to examine a knee that is acutely painful and swollen, and how this failure may lead to a loss of opportunity and later complications for the patient.

Part 3 - X-rays

The final section outlines the role of X-ray, emphasising that it is an adjuct to taking a thorough history and doing an appropriate clinical examination.
