It's now been 3 years since my surgery on my right knee and 2012 has been a good knee year for me without too many knee problems. I decided to finally do what I always talked about and joined a Running Club, I choose Droitwich Athletics Club in the County of Worcestershire that is also well known Worldwide for it's Famous Knee Clinic...

Patience

I saw my PT yesterday for the first time in 2 months. He sat down with me for 90 minutes, getting a baseline for my strength, pain level, and giving me more tools to use in my rehab. I simply had no clue how much a strength deficit impacts the normal functioning of your knee. Persistant pain

So my family doctor is sending for an...

Frustration

I am quite frustrated because I have been having so much trouble rehabbing my knee after the release of my scar tissue last year. I know I am still quite weak, but it just kills me that I am still in pain after almost a year out from the surgery. I can bend, but I still get stiffness and stabbing pains under the patella. Dr. Noyes said we could wait 5-10 years before doing a replacement...

Surgery today

Sep 13, 2012 - Comments: 0

I didnt have the surgery until this week due to the surgeon was sick.  Well I didnt have ALL the hardware out, when they got in there it was a little worse than we thought, they took the screw out that was messing with that nerve and they found another one was going through the main bone (shin bone) and then into the little bone beside it, the thing is everytime I walked or put weight on that leg, that screw was digging a hole into the little bone...
